I hope that others can turn their negative thoughts into positive thoughts and improve their own lives.
First, I eat healthy; it comes from the inside out. If you eat right, your skin, hair, nails will look good. The same if you have negative thoughts - they can give you a bad look, too; we reflect what we eat and think. We also taste and smell what we eat. Being happy and doing what I love really reflects.
Self-reflection is so healthy. Journaling works for me - when I record the details of what I'm going through, whether it's a relationship issue or negative thoughts, I can look back and see how far I've come. It makes me proud to see my progress and how I got through a bad situation.
There aren't any negative thoughts about my time in Detroit; I just didn't play. Sometimes you have to go through that at different stages. I went through it during a tough period, my first year in the league, but it was a good year for me off the court.
